Hi, I’m Shelley, the heart and hands behind Shelley Ide Jewellery. My journey in jewellery making started when I studied 3D design at college specialising in jewellery. Although life took me on a different career path, I never lost my passion for creating and design. In 2024 with support from my partner and family, I finally decided to build a studio and set up my own jewellery business.
My studio, is nestled between the South Downs and the south coast in West Sussex and is where I handcraft each piece of jewellery using sterling silver and semi-precious stones. The coastal environment is a constant source of inspiration for me—the rhythm of the waves, the intricate patterns in seashells, and the ever-changing shoreline all influence my designs and I love finding different ways to transform these natural elements into jewellery that captures the essence of the ocean.
When I’m not at my workbench, you’ll often find me walking along the beach with my cocker spaniel, Dudley, our favourite place to be!
